How We Work
How We Work
A Seamless Process. Powered by Technology. Transparent at Every Stage.
6-Step Process
Step 1: Engagement & Agreement
We execute a formal Collateral Management Agreement (CMA) or service contract, clearly defining roles, reporting obligations, release conditions, and liability. All terms are entered into Collatry at the outset to establish the digital governance framework for the engagement.
⚡ POWERED BY COLLATRY
Engagement parameters are configured in Collatry before the first asset enters custody — establishing the digital audit trail from day one.
Step 2: Site Assessment & Facility Certification
Our team conducts a thorough assessment of the designated warehouse or storage facility before accepting custody — evaluating structural integrity, pest control, fire safety, access controls, and environmental conditions.
Step 3: Receipt & Verification
All incoming commodities are inspected and verified against shipping documents, quality certificates, and agreed specifications. Warehouse receipts or collateral certificates are issued to the financier upon satisfactory completion.
⚡ POWERED BY COLLATRY
Every receipt event is logged in Collatry with quantity, quality, and timestamp data — creating an immutable record accessible to the financing bank in real time.
Step 4: Continuous Monitoring & Reporting
Our field officers conduct scheduled and surprise inspections throughout the financing period. Real-time inventory levels, stock condition reports, and environmental compliance updates are submitted to the financier on agreed frequencies.
⚡ POWERED BY COLLATRY
Bank partners do not wait for scheduled reports. Through Collatry, live stock data and condition updates are available at any time — with automated alerts for any deviation from agreed parameters.
Step 5: Release Management
All stock releases are strictly controlled. GSL only authorises release upon receipt of verified instructions from the financing bank. We coordinate the movement of goods to designated off-takers, export terminals, or buyer locations.
⚡ POWERED BY COLLATRY
Every release authorisation, instruction, and movement is recorded in Collatry — providing a complete, time-stamped release log for audit and compliance purposes.
Step 6: Reconciliation & Closure
At the conclusion of the financing facility, GSL conducts a final stock reconciliation, confirming that all collateral has been properly accounted for and disposed of per the terms of the CMA.
⚡ POWERED BY COLLATRY
Collatry generates the final reconciliation report automatically – providing a complete engagement summary, full audit trail, and closure documentation in one structured output.
